ABOUT THE FILM FESTIVAL

Launched in 2012, the Resene Architecture & Design Film Festival was created to showcase the best architecture and design films to New Zealand cinemas. Initially screening exclusively at Rialto Cinemas in Auckland, the festival has expanded into a nationwide event, with the 2025 14th edition reaching audiences across 12 regions and 14 cinemas. It has become a key annual film festival in New Zealand and is one of the largest architecture and design film festivals in the world.
